Kreayshawn and White Girl Mob

“Gucci, Gucci, Louis, Louis, Fendi, Fendi, Prada – Basic bitches wear that shit so I don’t even bother”
I listened to it about 5 times today and had to stop so I didn’t play it out in my brain. I was looking around trying to find out more about “White Girl Mob” – as far as I can tell there is only 3 of them, one was in jail (V-Nasty) and I believe atleast two of them are sisters(V-Nasty and Kreayshawn… I could be wrong about this)
So, from my vast research Kreayshawn is the brains behind the crew, she is a self taught, multi media artist, who has been making beats since she was 9. Her mother was in a surf rock band and she had a step dad who was a dj and rapper. She first got noteriety though because of her video shooting/editing skills, shooting videos for Bay area rappers/musicians.
V-nasty appears to be a rapper who recently was in prison for 6 months but has since gotten out. I am not really impressed with the ONE track I have heard from her featuring Kreayshawn, plus the video of her freestyling is dumb.
Who is the other girl in the kreayshawn video?
DJ L1L D3BB13 (read Dj Lil Debbie, gramps) is the third member, who claims to be a dj and “FAKE ASS RAPPER” according to her twitter profile. She is the chick in the “Gucci, Gucci” video that looks like Kreayshawn with glasses on. She is hot, but other than that, doesn’t seem to do much.
Kreayshawn’s song debuted on the Fader’s website and has been blowing up the interwebs ever since. Apparently she is down with Lil B, Souljah Boy, and Odd Future and also likes to make pixel art.
Keep an eye out for Kreayshawn so you can seem cooler than you are when she is mentioned on Pitchfork.
This seems to be the coming of a new trend of the tweener generation dressing 90s stupid, being unapologetically dadaist, speaking openly about consuming copious amounts of marijuana and making irreverant music, which in most cases really isn’t very good. I will see you in a year when this shit is played out. Hopefully Kreayshawn will survive through the hype because she is actually talented.
