So here I am, little old me, with my Master’s in Social Work thinking I can save the world. I work for an agency in gorgeous Staten Island, NY where I am a mental health and substance abuse therapist. When I took the job I thought I would definitely be doing great things. Well, yesterday I walk outside and to the side of my building to get something out of my car only to discover a couple clients crouched down hitting a crack pipe. So I thought, “Should I say something? Should I ignore it?” I went with the latter choice because I wasn’t sure of what kind of reaction these people would have to my interrupting their crack session. I have to say, I am now very pleased that I made the decision I did once this little blurb fell into my lap today….

Do Not Touch a Man’s Crack Pipe

I’m thinking I probably should have just sat them down and shown them this video, and they never would’ve picked up the crack in the first place.

Early prevention people, it’s the only way to go.
