So, word on the street is that the Slowtimers like fashion and beauty too, so I’m joining the ranks under the lovely name Meatball (my first word, btw) to bring forth the civilized society. The fashionistas. The it and the who and the what’s what. Or, rather, I just like to find tricked out shit and talk about it. Sometimes I’ll just write about burgers, but today, I’m talkin’ nails, girls.
So, on Katy Perry’s tumblr, she shows off her sushi-encrusted claws. I gotta say, I’m a major fan of this. I mean, strangely, I’m a major fan of Katy Perry (c’mon, her blog is Kitty Purry, that is adorable), and this is the deal-sealer. The whole getup can be viewed here.
I’m sure this makes some of you frown. But I know Myles is all ’bout it. Holla.
If you didn’t already know, Major Lazer is a collab group comprised of one of my favorites from way back Switch and the unstoppable Grammy-nominated Diplo, together they formed a mutant dancehall, dubbie electro monster ready to make you shake yo ass, check em out in a town near you, this is the highest recommendation I can give for a show.

It was a crap day. My favorite soccer team lost the biggest game in the sport. I had a migraine for 2/3rds of the day. Okay that’s not too bad, but I’m looking to complain. The point is I was feeling down until I saw this.
I have seen most of these spoofs but never this one. I like it. I watch it often.
Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy at first, but I can’t deny the similarities.
I was in chorus, scratch that, honors chorus, forced in for being a delinquent and needing the extra credit, but being there I realized I loved it. I’m serious, and this show hit home, because those songs they sang, I sang. Les Miz and all that shiz. I was artsy fartsy and I’m okay with that. The sad thing is that I got kicked out of chorus for being nothing short of glee. So watch this show and imagine a late bloomin’ A.T., up on stage and in front of the lights, the world in his grasp and his dreams at his feet, think of good ol’ top-hat in this light and keep me there forever.
