Or Don’t Think Too Hard.

Jimmy4Real

Ok, I was talking with Top-hat about this, and he unknowingly confirmed the concept of a slowtimer. He asked me to go to this site and click the top definition thumbs up, and the one below it a thumbs down. He wanted me to do it many, many times as part of his web-wide-takeover. When I asked him why he just didn’t enlist the help of the “Slowtimers”, he said, “It’s an easy thing for someone to do, but it is extremely hard to motivate them to do it. If everybody I knew did that, once a day for a month, we’d be the cat’s meow.” (few second pause)

“People don’t do that shit. People don’t understand that shit, … that it’s important to me.”
(long pause, high-pitched voice)…” I want to sing the songs I want to sing.”

We all know by now a slowtimer is someone who is laid back and obvious, and so now it is time to do the obvious thing and lazily click the link, and do your civic duty. It wasn’t important yesterday, but now is the time to take the time to do a number of things. Let’s just make this one of them.

{Oh, by the way… My name is Jimmy4Real, and this is my first blogpost. I always wanted to publish a blog, and I just never could figure out what I wanted to write about. Mostly I was scared. Scared of rejection. Sometime I’ll have to publish the first post I have been writing but haven’t ever published because I didn’t know if it was “good enough”.}

  1. No worry of being worried, my friend. If that were the case, I’da be worried a long time ago.
