Stop Calling Me Baby!

I watched a lot of ST:TNG when I was fifteen, but that’s because my life is not a French film. If it were, I would have spent that time yearning for an experienced man to pop my cherry. Such is the case with Isabelle. She wants to be a world renowned lover, and only her virginity is standing in the way. Will she seduce the truck driver? The dectective? A year after her Academy nominated turn as Iris in Taxi Driver, fifteen year old Jodie Foster was cast in a jailbait drama called Moi, Fleur Bleue (aka Stop Calling Me Baby!). The real cherry, however, is the film’s soundtrack. Foster recorded three songs for the movie, released on two 7″ singles. The B-side of each single features a spoken word disco number called “La Vie C’est Chouette”. Spoken word disco?!!!?
